We just got back from Texas Tuesday morning. We drove...yes, that's right, we drove to Texas with a 23 month old and a 10 week old. It took us about 14 hours and I have to admit we were expecting the worse since Kinley just got shots the day we left and Riley was starting to get a cold. Surprisingly, the ride was not bad since we left in the evening just in time for the girls to sleep! We had such a great time visiting Chase's family and our friends. We went over to Nate and Crystal's house to visit - Chase went to high school with them. They have a new baby boy named Mason - he is about 3 weeks younger than Kinley. Erik and Tiffany were also there with their new baby boy Easton, who is 1 week younger than Mason. Erik also went to high school with Chase and Tiffany went to U of I with Erik, Chase, and I. So, we got to visit some of our best friends and it was so awesome to see them and their new additions! On a side note, I can't believe Kinley is 10 weeks already and is getting cuter by the minute! Once we got back, Jessi, one of my best friends who happens to live in Texas was visiting her family here in Indiana, so she came to visit with her daughter Parker. Jenny and Avery also came over, so it was nice to catch up with all of us girls together. We all went to college together and I am so glad we all still keep in touch! I love them! :)
