Good News!

Riley had the tubes put in her ears this morning and everything went great! She was running around tonight like nothing had happened, so hopefully they have relieved her pain.

I had my Dr. appointment today: I am 32 weeks, have gained 25 lbs., and Kinley's heartbeat was at 150. I go back in 2 weeks for another quick check-up and then at my next visit they will start checking my cervix to see if baby Kinley is ready!! I can't believe she will be here so soon....it could be as little as 4 weeks if she is ready...but I am not holding my breath on that one! :)

Name Picked!!

Drumroll please.....and the winner is......Kinley Reese Huotari!! Thank you to all of you that tried to help me out with Reagan. I thought for sure if Chase saw that it wasn't just me who liked the name, he might go for it, but it didn't work....we both need to love the name I guess. :) Well, at least we can check that one off the list of things to do before she arrives - woohooo!

On Monday, Riley has to get tubes put in her ears. Her surgery is at 8am, so please be thinking of her. I have a Dr. appointment also, so I will let everyone know how Riley and Kinley are doing.

Potty Update!

Well, Riley went pee pee on the potty tonight for the first time! Usually before bath time she will sit on her potty while the tub fills up, so I had the water running and all of the sudden I heard the music start playing from the potty. Once she finally got up and we saw she went, we cheered and gave her high fives! We are so proud - haaa! :)

More Snow!

Well, it's a good thing we were off for President's Day today because I am pretty sure we would have had a snow day. Although the snow is very beautiful, I think we have had enough!! :)

Riley's New Potty!

So, last weekend we bought Riley a potty that is pictured above. Whenever anything hits in the potty, music plays...we are excited for that time to come! Riley will definitely sit on the potty and thinks it is so cool, but nothing has happened yet. We are using all of the potty vocabulary and just getting her used to the idea. I think mommy is more excited about this fun potty than anyone else. It has a little holder on the side for toilet paper and you can practice flushing too! Anyway, we will keep you all updated on Riley's progress! :)
